Just as nice as the picture...but will crack after a few uses.
This was just what I needed for my bathroom. I'm actually using it for my toothbrush and toothpaste. (I purchased the matching trashcan.) The colors are great. The only thing I want to mention is that this ceramic and is not good for rough usage. In other words, it's designed for a guest bathroom where there are no children or lots of activity.
