Classic shaped dress vase hand painted in green with a silver accent belt and a black glazed interior

Description

With this vase I started with a piece of bisque and added three coats of the black glaze to the inside. It takes a day between coats to dry to ensure an even coating of paint over the entire surface, once the paint is completely dry I put the vase into the kiln to be fired, wait about 12 hours for the kiln to cool completely then removed the vase. I then applied two coats of a green acrylic paint, then the silver belt with the black buckle to the outside then sprayed the vase with a sealant to make the acrylic paint water resistant. Vase weighs 0.5 pound, is 7.75" tall, 2.75" wide, dimensions do not include the packing material when shipped. Looking for something custom?
