Bundle of nearly-defective stuff. Build your own instead!
This bundle worked fine for only about 2 weeks. I have already had to replace two defective components in less than 3 months. The power supply that came with this was NOT the correct type for a 3B+. The whole Raspberry Pi system began having intermittent problems and would sometimes fail to boot. From scanning the system logs I found that the power supply was failing to supply required voltage and the Pi kept throttling and having other problems. I went out and bought a legitimate brand-name supply and that problem vanished immediately. Then, about 2 months after having this system, the supplied microSD card completely failed. Even reformatting it is impossible now, I've tried in several computers. Though it's labeled as a SanDisk brand card, there are many counterfeits out there and I suspect that's what I was sold. I had to start over with a new good SD card to get running again.I have 35 years experience in IT, including lots of assembling and troubleshooting of hardware and software. The FlightAware brand filter & receiver are working okay, though I now wish I had bought the Blue FA version that integrates the two. I would strongly suggest NOT buying this bundle but get a full Pi from a reputable source and then get a better antenna and a 1090MHz receiver separately.

Very nice package. Amp & Filter helped a lot for my location.
I've been using this setup for several months now. The only thing I changed was to go to the FlightAware big antenna 1090MHz ADS-B Antenna - 66cm / 26in . However, even before I went to the upgraded antenna this setup was pulling in FAR more airplanes than my basic USB SDR was with it's stock antenna. The filter and amplifier built in really do help a lot with picking up the planes. I'm on a hill in San Antonio and I had this antenna in the window with a view to the southeast and could pick up signals from planes over the gulf of mexico.Update Nov 2016 - Had to take a star off. Had an issue with PiAware software which required re-loading the image on the SD card. SD card is extremely hard to remove from this case. Ended up breaking the sd card :(

Easy and Fun to track airplanes with this setup
Delighted with my purchase. It arrived quickly, pieces fit together. All I had to do was plug the USB, power, filter, and antenna together, then download some software from FlightAware and burn a micro-SD card with the new code, then plug that microSD into the Raspberry Pi slot. I powered up the unit and it came to life with airplanes immediately visible through my FlightAware account. I can see 40-60 planes at any time in my home near Cleveland.

ADS-B receiver package works well!
This was easy to hook up and started working immediately. I see a lot of airplanes with just the indoor antenna, but am going to add an outside antenna to see more flights. This was easier than trying to find and match parts.

Received absolutely no instuctions
I received no instructions at all, nothing, zero. So the first thing it wants to know is my login information. That would be really hard for me to provide with no instructions. The ad on Amazon says: "all you have to do is Claim your device and you are ready." But no information is provided to explain what that means or how you would go about doing it.
