It's a bit more convenient, but I do use this in conjunction with my flat iron, so for me it does not serve as a replacement. I have really thin, long, curly hair. I already broke 2 of the red pieces off of the bristles. I have used this twice, and yes, my hair was detangled LOL. Another drawback is that the buttons are inconveniently placed where your thumbs would go... I shut it off all too frequently even when locked.

I really like this. It doesn't make my hair poker straight. I don't follow the directions as I should. I let my hair mostly dry and if I don't like it (too frizzy) then I turn my head upside down and brush it all with this brush for maybe three minutes, I stand back up and there is very little left to be done, less than five minutes and no frizz!!!!!

Great product! Works quick on my long hair. Only complaint is that it does not get close enough to my head and sometimes leaves a noticeable mark.

I used this piece of junk one time, and it already doesn't work. Because of Amazon's stupid 30 day return policy, I am now out the $25 I spent on this useless product because it stopped working 15 days after the return window.

My wife got this and loved it. She says it straights her hair really fast and well (she has a thin hair). The only issue is that you can easily shut it down or change its temperature when you are brushing your hair. The buttons are kind of in a bad place, but it seems you can learn how to manage it. Pretty good deal!

Like stated before, hard to use because of where the buttonsender are. I keep accidently turning it off.

I bought this for my step daughter on flash sale, she loves it.

Returned. Did not work well.
