Cucina Chef Stainless Steel and Glass Salt and Pepper Grinder Set

Finally broke down and bought real salt and pepper grinders. I do a lot of BBQ and I got really tired of trying to grind 2-3 Tblspn's of pepper for some rub recipes with the cheap plastic based grinders that come with some peppers and salts. When these came I was surprised at their size, as they are larger than the pictures make it seem. The container is glass and you unscrew the stainless top part to easily fill or refill with Salt or Pepper. The grind is easily adjustable buy turning a smallish plastic piece either clockwise or anti clockwise, it is marked to show which way is which, you do have to turn it multiple times to change the grind size significantly. The actual grinding mechanism is ceramic. The effort needed to grind pepper or salt is much easier than those cheap plastic ones and the grind size is much more consistent as well. I am very pleased with this purchase.

September 28, 2018: still have these, still working perfectly, I definitely recommend!April 2017: These are really well made, glass and stainless steel salt and pepper grinders. They are fairly large, but not too large. Bigger than I expected. I love the design. They can be stored either upright, with the glass on the bottom, or upside down, with the stainless steel on the bottom. The lids work well (so far) coming off and going back on (I love to cook). I have had no issues what-so-ever with these grinders.

Nice spice mills. The glass bowls are thick and feel sturdy. The mechanism grinds nicely, and the adjustment is a nice touch.

I love these. Easy to set the grind size with a huge range. Fits great in your hand.

Only good things to say about these grinders!* The glass and steel combination will work in any decor and the packaging is perfect as a gift item, would make a great housewarming or wedding gift.* They are pretty enough to be right on your table for serving.* I like the glass globes on these because it fits nicely in your hand while you are grinding.* The globes are fairly large so you won't have to constantly refill them.* The mechanism is smooth and you can adjust the size of the grind to your preference.* The cap can collect the spice while you grind, but I prefer to just toss the caps in a drawer so I can quickly add fresh ground salt and pepper right on top.* Since these grinders are stored upright there is less mess from an open top unlike the grinders with the mechanism on the bottom.Disclosure: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest, unbiased review. These are large and we think that's good. Finally had time to put salt and pepper in them and they grind very well and the adjustment is excellent.I recommend them if, if, you are okay with the size.

I really like this pair of salt& paper mill. They are the right size in hand and work really well!Highly recommended!

Salt shaker has defect in glass and black hosing in the top area broke the first time I used it
