Small Servo Saver 24 Spline Drive

the only saver to purchase and trust.
It's a servo saver...wait, it's THE servo saver to have for an R/C steering servo. Yes, you will more than likely have to modify it for your R/C. That's the way the hobby works. This fits a certain servo you picked to be placed in any random R/C based on suggestions on boards. You can slam a V8 in a Chevy Vega, it's very popular, but it takes a little work. Here, it's just doing some trimming of plastic and isn't brain surgery.A servo saver is suggested, even on metal gear servos, because this is acting as the relief of the weakest link. If it doesn't fit and you don't modify a single thing about it so you go back to solid servo arms...you're going to break/bend something because you didn't want to think about it a bit and how it works with your R/C. If this isn't in place, the weakest part will break and it's not going to be your metal gear servo. The MG servo won't fail because it's metal, but that plastic servo arm you find that fits without trimming will twist, bend, and fail. If not that, then joints. Even one good jolt to a curb and you'll bend the metal steering arms.Take some time, find out which hole you want to use on the saver, make sure that's what you want, then trim the rest off and even drill out a hole if that's what you need to do. Done. Now you're saving a lot of parts as this is intended to do. It's a lateral shock absorber and does exactly as it says it's suppose to do.I have this on a 2.5 T-maxx and trimmed off the 3-holes on either side and drilled out the furthest out center hole. Works just fine under the Integy servo guard and is protecting all the nickle and dime joints I'd replace if I used a solid plastic arm on the HiTec 225MG...something will give. The stock Traxxas servo saver is circular with only one mounting point and you just match/mimic that with a much better product.Nothing is wrong with this product and the only negative review is of those wanting it to fit and work perfectly on each and every combo out there....that's not happening. That's why it has 8 holes.

Ehh
Only heard good things about this saver... Put it in my mini 8ight. Had to be cut down a bit on the top but stripped out after a few laps on a 5645mg servo. I put a plastic arm on and its golden.

I only trust Kimbro servo savers. others don't center as well and are usually bigger causing a fit issue.

Mini 8ight
Worked well on my Losi Mini 8ight. Trimmed it with a dremel so only the middle holes were left.

Very good servo saver.
Durable product. I have it installed on my Hpi savage flux and I was running 6s Lipo. Extreme jumping and bashing and it held up. I will buy more.
