I don't know why. The supplement does not work very well when taking only one pill. Sometimes I still stay awake for half an hour after taking one pill. However, I am also afraid it would be so strong that I still feel sleepy after waking up like the sleeping aid I get from supermarket. When taking two pills, it works more significantly though.

I tried one tablet without success, then upped it to two tablets. I could definitely feel a physically relaxing effect, which was very nice...and it DID make me very, very drowsy. It did not, however, allow me to go to sleep very quickly...took almost 2 hours each night...and when I did sleep, I felt that the sleep state was very "light." I woke up several times and did go back to sleep fairly quickly, but the next morning, I did not feel that I had rested well at all. After a couple of nights of poor sleep, I gave up and went back to my prescription Ambien which works very, very well for me in allowing me to fall asleep quickly, stay asleep, and wake rested and refreshed; I was just hoping to be able to get off the prescription sleep medication. I only had the product a few days and cannot give an account of how long term it works. I have taken it twice and was pleased with the results. I wonder if those rating this product 5 star are actually the real customer or ghost customers. I ordered this because of its ratings, was so disappointed at it. It didn't do anything for me, I took it the first day and the second day without any effect. I was fully awake till morning, the worst part is that, it gave me stomach ache. I'm returning it, can't waste this amount of money on crap. The only good thing is the shipping was so fast.

Directions say 1 for light sleep (nap), 2 for deep sleep. I took 1 first night and did sleep well. Couple nights later took 2 and did , indeed, have a wonderful deep sleep! Have only used a couple times but extremely pleased with results so far!

The only reason I had to return this product was because the pill was to big for me to swallow. I tried mixing in ginger ail but it foamed over the glass. Then I tried plane water, it wouldn't mix. So I put it in my Publix cherry vanilla yogurt but it changed the flavor tasting like sand, BUT, I did get the best sleep every.
