LifetimeStealth Angler Fishing Kayak

We bought these Kayaks a few months ago. I was a little worried about buying on line and having them delivered as I heard you should expect some damage from the freight company. To my surprise they arrived ahead of time and in near perfect condition as they were wrapped entirely in bubble wrap! My son and I took them out for the first time this weekend and we were very very happy with the quality as well as the speed of the kayaks. They were also very easy to maneuver around. They have nice features as well, the straps to hold down anything you want to carry on the front and back and a storage compartment to hold my dry bag for my wallet, car keys and phone. It also has a place to lay a rather large water bottle down. Only negative so far....Its clear we will need to buy a cheap little seat cushion for our backs....But we knew that from previous reviews so its not a big deal or a surprise. My son and I give these kayaks two thumbs up! Very happy we made the purchase after completing a lot of research.

The quality is great. It was delivered with no issues... no dings, no scratches. I bought this as a father's day present for my husband who loves to go fishing. He thinks the quality is wonderful, it's easy to secure to our vehicle, he has lots of space and it sits well in the water... and that's saying something as my husband is extremely clumsy. I expected him to fall into the water several times but he makes it out fine. He also spends hours out there which is impressive. His last kayak was so uncomfortable he could maybe go out for an hour or so before he started to get the aches and pains.

My first watercraft was an 13' emotion canoe which was great for me and for more folks as it seats three. Problem is most of my use was by myself and the canoe is a bit heavy. I then bought an 8' sit in kayak which was light and easy to carry, but it rolled a lot in the water and didn't track very straight. I gave it to my son. and bought this 11' kayak and it has been great for fishing and just kayaking. It's middle ground weight and length is just what I was looking for. It tracks well but is a little slow to get going. Moving water or wind will make you keep the paddle handy while fishing to keep orientation the way you want it. I'm giving this 4 stars because I think a ten footer may be the ideal size for me.

Picked this up as a replacement for my Emotion Stealth Angler that I'd had for 9 years, after mine was stolen. This one's seat straps suck. There isn't a bungie for holding your paddle on both sides. Did I mention the seat sucks? the storage hatch sits right in your crotch and isn't placed well for anyone taller than 5'-6". It's almost ten pounds heavier than the Emotion kayak I previously owned.I would recommend not buying it. If your looking for a fishing kayak there are better models that have better seats, storage, handles, and lighter weight.

Absolutely love Emotion Kayaks !!! This is the second Emotion we own and I would highly recommend them. The seat on this model has a very comfortable seat that is padded and adjustable. Love the storage both fore and aft with plenty of room for your gear. I rarely fish, but the amount of storage space allows me to bring a cooler on board along with other gear. I also use the rod holders for GoPro mounts. The only downside is the shipping time. The kayak shipped on July 1st and delivered on July 20th. Be sure to order early enough to allow for ample shipping time.

I've had one of these for several years, and it is like paddling a battleship. It's heavy and pushes a lot of water as you go. Also heavy and bulky to handle out of the water - you need two people to carry it very far. The tiny wheel on the back is pretty worthless unless you are transporting it across a smooth, finished surface.That bigness makes it extremely stable, and pretty comfortable to ride on. There is plenty of space for fishing gear. This is my only kayak that will fit my full size tackle box plus a rod and net, and still have plenty of space for me, a dog and some snacks and drinks. The paddle holder is nice, and comes in handy when fishing.To be honest, we have three kayaks and I only use this one if family members are using the other two. Even though the fishing and storage capabilities of this one are better, it's just too much bulk. Every part of it is a chore - transporting it, putting it in the water, paddling it, and taking it back out of the water.

I have ordered 4 of the stealth 11 kayaks, one last year and three this year from different company's. They all four were shipped from the manufacture with three having quality issues. The finish work on the back and sides were ruff and on one Kayak on the first day of use, split on the back seam near the plug and handle. I am now after almost 2 months getting a new one sent to me. It may just be this model of kayak as most I have seen of the Emotions kayaks are very good quality for the money.

This kayak is hard to beat and is terrific in terms of amenities, weight, and length. This is our second one and I would urge anyone interested in fishing, in addition to simply kayaking to consider this craft.
