I got this kit to go with a dehydrator my wife got me for fathers day. It comes with some EXCELLENT directions and methods with the seasons packets that are included. I went to the store, got the leanest ground beef I could find and teleported my soul into homemade carnivorous snack nirvana. I mixed the ingredients per the instructions, let sit overnight in the fridge and the next morning I loaded up the dehydrator. About 4 hours later, I had the best jerky I have ever tasted. Kit includes directions for an oven, smoker and a couple other techniques. Can't wait to try them all.

Jerky Master is a Fun Toy
I got the Jerky Master Jerky Making Kit for my son who loves jerky. He dove right in to the kit and started making jerky. It took much longer than the instructions said and although his brother and I liked the results, he was not satisfied. It doesn't cost much and it is an interesting process, but I think you'll be seeing these in yard sales soon.
