Great concept; needs re-design
BLUF: Does not swivel easily and must be mounted halfway back to allow room to swivel, making it harder to see items placed on it.PROs: Does swivel to allow multiple viewing angles from one position; I purchased the stand with the standard mount and an extra swivel mount to allow me to use the stand in multiple places.CONs: The wing nut must be somewhat loose to allow it to swivel; when it is loosened enough to swivel freely, the stand does not feel secure, so you end up loosening, adjusting, and re-tightening, which is not as convenient as expected. Also, in order to allow room for the mount to swivel a full 90 degrees to each side, you must mount it halfway back from the front edge of the cabinet, with the result that whatever is sitting on the stand is much further back than anticipated. It works okay in this position for an iPad or Kindle, but for recipes I must use the standard mount at the front edge of the cabinet in order to see them.
