## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this work on an european model (220V)?**
A: Designed for 115v. Would not recommend 220v.  Risk of fire or damage.

**Q: Will this work with 220-240 V version of Q2400?**
A: No it is not compatible  because the resistance on a 220 /240 volt heating element is different thzn a 120 volt.

**Q: will this work with any power cord with thermostat control for electric smokers and grills ?**
A: I am guessing here but... it might work, but I doubt it. The Stanbroil heating element looks like it's manufactured to fit a few Weber electric grills, specifically. When it comes to electrical devices -- and especially devices that are designed to heat up to the point where it can char meat -- you'd do best to get the specifics of your thermostat control unit, smoker or grill and order the replacement part you need from the original manufacturer. Or, you can do as I did:  after finding the Weber replacement part number, I checked to see if Amazon has a third-party heating element that says it's designed to replace that Weber part number, specifically. I might be wrong, but I don't think the Starbroil heat element has a universal fit.
