Just line it up, push it down with your foot, tilt it to the side, and you’re done. It’s really simple to use, pulls weeds out with hardly any effort, and no more sore back afterwards. Can anyone take a guess?** A: No it will not. I have been trying to do just that for the last two hours and it takes me 5-8 pulls just to get it all. The prongs are too short to get the root and not spaced enough to get the whole clump. It is not user error. I drove it down centered on the root with my foot and even tried applying more force while leaning the tool. Just breaks the roots every time. **Q: Can you pull weeds from clay or tropical soil?** A: If the soil is heavy clay, this product will work poorly, if at all. In my many attempts to get it to work in clay soil (wet, dry, cold...), it failed *every* time -- pulling up as many clods of soil (which then need to be manually removed from the tool) as anything else. And, 9/10 times, the tap/central root would break off. I ended up giving the tool away at a yard sail. Waste of time and money for clay soils. **Q: What is the difference between this lower priced version and the version selling for $78?** A: To our knowledge, there is no difference. They are selling their product under the same UPC and Amazon Model number as ours. I would weed my lawn on my hands and knees or bent over. I heard about this tool and had to try it. I was not disappointed! It works great! Whoever invented this is genius.
