Good, even with my achy wrists
When you have had arthritis for 30 years, it’s the small things in life that wear you down. Case in point: One develops a dicey relationship with things such as can openers. When you have always-sore fingers and wrists, tools that require twisting and turning can be just a tiny bit of “H.E. Double Hockey Sticks” on a daily basis. So I have long had a testy relationship with hand-held can openers, but I can say that this is one that I can use with relative ease. Sure, my wife got me an electric can opener so I didn’t have to deal with grabbing and wrenching with a hand-twist opener -- but for some reason, I dislike the electric can opener with a passion. (Call me neurotic).Anyway, I love the way this opener opens cans from the sides, leaving no sharp edges to cut yourself on. It works great. I must say, however, tt first, I couldn’t figure out how to use it! (Also call me mentally deficient)! The instruction sheet that comes with the device don’t make any sense, at least not to me. But I just put them aside and noodled around with this opener, and within less than 60 seconds, I was spinning open a can of mushrooms. Works like a snap. This can opener is also an attractive tool -- and it is solid, and well constructed with high quality materials. The turning handle is fat enough to allow easy grasping, as is the primary handle. The cutting blade is made of quality steel and sharp enough.I can find no fault with this can opener, while also discovering a lot to like, so I give it five stars. Please note I received this item free in exchange for a 100% objective, honest and unbiased review based on an actual “in-the-kitchen-field-test” of the product.

Solid Parts, Good Quality
It's a little bigger than I thought it would be. That's alright with me, just was thinking it would be smaller. It also has some weight to it which balances well with the can you are trying to open.I'd used these types of can openers before, but never owned one myself. The first time I used it, it took some getting used to. You have to apply a decent amount of force to get the knob to turn, but it opens most cans effectively. I also figured out the hard way to get it to release you simply turn the knob counterclockwise and it will let the can go.It's not too hard to clean. I just use a little warm water and dish soap and it cleans right up.A pretty good purchase. As mentioned, the only downside I can think of is the amount of force you have to use to get it to turn. I got used to it though so I figure most other users would as well.Would buy again if needed.

Open you can.
This is a great can opener, locks on with a turn - reverse to release. No jagged edges, a very smooth cut. You can actually feel the final cut, and the can will stop turning. This is the best manual opener I have ever purchased, at a great price too. I normally don't recommend products, this time I must

Hard to start---does good job
Does a great job of opening cans--HOWEVER---it is VERY difficult getting started. I doubt that the average housewife could twist the first few turns, without calling for help ! After two or three turns, it is easier to turn.

Not for senior citizens
I found it very difficult to use, not a senor citizen product.

) but this can opener is the best I've ever owned
I have no idea what "E-Prance" is (Engrish?) but this can opener is the best I've ever owned, and one of the cheapest.

very hard to turn
hard to turn the crank, so it's useless if you have arthritis. otherwise works fine.

Could be better
Opens my cans fine but the crank is not easily turned. If you have arthritis in your hands don't buy.
