Review: Great supplement to the story books - We love all the research guides for MTH. They are written at a higher Lexile level than the stories but it makes them fun to read together. My 6 year old doesn't have the patience to read through a research guide the entire way through on her own but together it makes for a fun project...she gets to tell me about what happened in the story to Jack & Annie and together we learn some fun facts about whatever time/place the story was about.

We love all the research guides for MTH. They are written at a higher Lexile level than the stories but it makes them fun to read together. What a great book! My son who is 7 years old is obsessed reading magic tree house books and he loves this one too. Fact tracker is a great enforcement for my son after reading the related magic tree house book. Highly recommended.

My eight year old grandson really likes these books. They are well written and profusely illustrated. Perfect to encourage the beginning reader. My grandson seems to like the research guides even more than the Magic Tree House 'story' books.
