Wheel thrown stoneware pottery. Covered in several layers of Terra Sigillata and hand polished. Clear crackle glazed interior and lip. Raku fired with horsehair and iron. The soft sheen comes from the Terra Sigillata. Signed on the bottom by the artist. The images are of the actual piece for sale. This Raku piece is for decorative use only. The clay remains porous and is not suitable for holding water. 5.75" h x 5.25" diameter.
