Bearded Dragon (Pet Expert) Paperback – October 1, 2012

This is a great book with information that other books about bearded dragons don't have. It is not the set up the same as other books so you have to read through the whole book. Take notes on it or insert page finders to reference information you might want to review.

I love these pet expert books..they are so very well done.great pictures..and easy reading size..this is a complete book on this species on where species come from,colors,species,care,houseing..the pictures are just excellent..even if youd like to draw from them....

l am a beginning bearded dragon owner and have a 2 y/o bearded dragon called Bella. This manual tells you the correct terrarium lighting, how to hold a bearded dragon, and all possible ways to figure out the answer to that question that kids and adults alike ask after purchasing the lizard... Is my bearded dragon a BOY or a Girl??, on MALES every thing is wider then FEMALES. What things do l look for?, you may ask. Look at the Cloaca, also known as the Vent, the head, and the femoral glands. This manual also includes a mating, and reproduction section. l still don't agree with the idea of giving beardies lettuce, l really think, due to low nutrition values, that it is absolutely not necessary. To my ultimate displeasure, it doesn't include a list of toxic foods, DON'T GIVE CITRUS TO YOUR BEARDED DRAGON, EVER!l have reviewed 6 other bearded dragon manuals, including, "Baby Bearded Dragon Care" by Vet Adams, and "Bearded Dragon, The Interactive Quiz Book" by Interactive Games.

Good info. But lettering is so small almost need a magnifying glass.

Amazing little book. The author is an outstanding exotic vet whose wealth of expertise is phenomenal. I've had the great pleasure of Lance Jepson being my vet for 23 years, caring for my beautiful bearded dragon and my stunning green iguana who lived for 25 years. I highly recommend this book and any others that he has written regarding exotics. Kind regards

Easy to read and understand how to look after a Dragon properly.Helpful with how to do a set up.

I bought this book as a present for a child that is about to begin looking after a new pet. The book is full of lovely photographs and helpful information, unfortunately I will be sending the book I received back as the condition was on par with a second hand book and not suitable for the gift it was intended to be.

Great book, purchased for my son after reading the good reviews, he was not disappointed! He is planning his first beardie and this book could not be more helpful, great pics too to give you some good ideas for vivarium layout and accessories to buy. Everything you need to get you started as a beardie owner is in this must have read
