The gaskets are better than a plain black o-ring
Appears to be well built. The gaskets are better than a plain black o-ring.It does not come with any instructions for installation. Fortunately, I have the tools and ability to install it. This may be a challenge for some people

Much better than the plastic ones. Fits the same sized hole.
I had tried a plastic one for a 55 gallon plastic barrel. When I tried to tighten the nut, it would strip before I could get it tight enough to not leak. This one worked great, and I was able to tighten the nut all the way down.
