Papa, My Father: A Celebration of Dads

Such a sweet account of Leo Buscaglia's relationship with his father and how his father taught him some of the biggest lessons in life. My husband and I read this book together out loud on the couch once our littles fell asleep at night. It was a heartwarming piece to read and very easy to do so too. Simple and inspiring!

I've kept my copy of this book close by over the years, because it is such a joy to read individual stories about Leo Buscaglia's father who was a good man. I can relate his stories to episodes in my own life and his father to people I've known growing up. I read these stories because they are uplifting and help me recognize that there are many good people around me in this world.

Very touching book especially if you are Italian.

This book is broken down into the different ways a father can influence their child. After we finished reading this book we gave a copy to each of our sons. We thought the author did such a good job of telling how his father had influenced him in ways that probably his father hadn't even realized. Its not just the "big lessons" that fathers plan on teaching their child, but sometimes the lessons they learn that weren't consciously taught. Would recommend this book to any young father to read.

Great book, quick read but so many inspirational thoughts about our fathers who are so instrumental in our lives.Quite the tribute on Leo's part and his true value and love of his family shines throughout the book, an inspiration forall of us!
