These spoons are perfect. I bought them to get around a couple of problems I had been dealing with. When I brew coffee, one problem had been the French press being too deep for the disposable plastic spoons I had used. The very end of the handle would be submerged if I tried to stir the grounds down on the bottom of the press. These wooden spoons are actually long enough to reach the bottom and with plenty of handle left to hold. Second, when stirring in the glass carafe of the French press a metal spoon could prove disastrous. Clearly, plastic or wooden spoons such as these are necessitated. Also, the plastic spoons would start to bend, deforming, in the heat of the water. This gives the advantage to the wooden spoons. Having used these Good Grips wooden Coffee & Tea spoons I am satisfied with them, and if it matters the wood is also beautiful.

Made of Nanmu, a handsome, hard, close-grained wood from (according to the dictionary) western China, used heavily for artistic frames, architectural accents, and wood carvings. I bought them to stir French Press coffee at the beginning of the brew cycle. The wood is much better suited to this purpose than traditional, more porous wood used for spoons. It reminds me of monkey pod wood from the Philippines, but with a tighter, harder finish. The wrapped handles might be a nice feature for other applications, but for my purposes the windings come a little too close for comfort to the surface of the coffee when I am doing a full 34-oz. press. I consider these an excellent value and quite attractive.

Very nice and smooth spoons. I hand wash with soft sponge cause I scratched one with a different spounge I had. I had them for a few months and one of the strings came off. I didn't have glue so eh. It's still nice with out the string. Even tho I really like the string. They are great for stirring my tea. Still recommend just have glue handy in case :)

Opened these up and noticed one of the spoons was cracked. The other 3 are fine and they’re really cute. I gave 3 stars because these are cute, but obviously not that durable if they can crack during delivery. Unless it was cracked before it was packaged. Regardless pretty disappointed

They work very well for my spices

I use these to stir the coffee grounds into the hot water in my french press. They are so much better than a metal spoon because the metal will flavor the coffee, and most plastic spoons are too short. They are also easy to clean.

Works perfectly for my Bodum double-wall cups. Nicely made. Happy purchaser.
