Arts-and-crafts overhead light that works great
This is a trendy and attention-capturing light fixture that would look great in older, renovated homes and also in new homes that are looking for an arts-and-crafts look. We were doing some renovations to our house and held off a little before installing it, finally determining that it would look perfect in our artsy guest bedroom. At first, the installation looked a little intimidating but my husband -- who is not a handyman or do-it-yourselfer! -- was able to understand the directions and get it installed quickly. It's important to realize that the four light bulbs are not installed, although they're easy to pick at your local "big box" hardware store (we got ours at Home Depot). It did add approximately $60 more to the cost so if you're decorating on a budget, this may not be the way to go. However, it looks great and works fine, and gives every indication of being durable.

I wouldn't call it pretty but...
We love this light! We were looking for a new fixture that was a little industrial. Something to mix in with an imported pine bookcase and low entertainment cabinet with metal doors. This is perfect for our kids playroom. It's def has that steampunk vibe too. In all honesty, I could see this in a number of styles and Arts and Crafts could work out perfectly. That being said, worked wonderful for us. We went with the 6v Edison LED light and paid around $13 for each bulb. A small investment that looks awesome and should last a long time.My sweet husband came home from work and got started on it. Let's just say, it's very important to make sure the mounting plate is turned the correct way or there is no way in heck you'll get the cover plate on... Haha... Yikes! That only took him 20 min of head scratching to figure out. I always say, when in doubt check the directions but apparently if you have your man card, you don't need those. Silly men. Anyway, it was super easy to put up after that riddle was solved. Be prepared to get off the step stool about 10 times to look for the little nuts that fall as you try to screw them in. Easy but takes s little longer than you thinkIt puts out enough to well light a 14' x 15' playroom for the kids! It looks great!

Lovely Looking Light
I have to preface this with this light looks like a fan. But, it’s not a fan, it’s a vintage looking light. It’s about 19-inches wide and features the iron cage look that is so popular right now in lighting design. I have to say I love this look. You add the LED Edison bulbs to this light BUT THEY ARE NOT INCLUDED - and be aware that they are more expensive than most bulbs for the “look” of them.It was an easy install, typical of a light of this design. There was an issue with getting the lights into the socket, I was worried about breaking them, but the final design is looking good. Bulbs like this usually cost about $15 each, so you will have to pay about $60 just for bulbs.Overall, lovely looking.

Cool looking, uses LEDs
This is a fun, steampunk-like addition to my studio. I have the other one that has three lights and I like this one better. I mounted it on the wall in a pre-existing electrical socket. I like the fact that it takes these cool, antique looking lights that are actually LEDs.
