Horse bends the back open to graze
Sadly, I don't think I can return the item because my horse did wear it for a few hours. But the horse can bend the back and the front allowing them to graze more than they should out of the corner. I wish I'd known this before spending so much money.

I love this muzzle
I love this muzzle! My horse hated the bucket style muzzle and that style rubbed a huge hole in his chin. He would run from me after eating (ration balancer) so that I couldn't put the muzzle back on. This muzzle he happily accepts and it is not rubbing or causing him pain!

Disappointed. Love the idea
Never fit right. My horse broke it after 1 month. Expensive for something that doesn’t hold up.

This is the best invention ever
This is the best invention ever. It does not rub and they don't get hot. It is so much better than the standard muzzle!!

I probably just could not figure out how to use ...
I probably just could not figure out how to use it, but the velcro rubbed raw spots on my boy's mouth. He also managed to get the plastic in his mouth. I did not see instructions. I threw it away.

Waste of good money.
Incredibly difficult to shape. Followed the directions to the letter and I'm a coordinated, crafty person, and yet the grazing muzzle was almost ruined - doing exactly what the directions said! Finally got the material shaped properly but my horse can eat grass through the gaps between the sides no matter how tight I make the halter. Rubbed her lips, nose and jaw. Opening the holes the horse is supposed to graze through was also difficult and frustrating. Either they made sharp edges or the muzzle melted and the pieces I wanted to remain in bent and sagged. The pattern of the grazing holes makes it hard for the horse to graze in any kind of longer grass and once you have removed the material, you cannot adjust or add material back. The substance the muzzles are made from is incredibly fussy. They tell you not to over heat it but it's extremely difficult to get the area malleable that is needed without some material remaining stiff and other areas getting too hot. Steam condensation causes a rough pattern on the muzzle that rubs, so a heat gun is a must. Even though I persisted and got the muzzle in the correct shape, it was too uncomfortable for my horse and too easily negated once she figured out how to push it aside. After a week I gave up on it and felt it was a complete waste of money.
