Ok look the listing's wrong. It says loop cap: It's a Café Cap. Is this a problem? No: The Café cap is leakproof - you can turn this sucker upside down and dance a jig and, it won't leak. Does it keep your drink hot for 11 hours? No. From boiling to lukewarm in 5 hours. Not cold, still pleasantly warm, but not the promised 11 hours. That said: Fill it full of hot water, slap the lid on and wait 30 minutes. Can you feel the sides warming up? No. It's That Good™. But you can add a loop cap for better heat retention if you want both. Otherwise, how is it? Great! Lovely textured paint for grip, nice carry handle, well engineered drink-through cap, easy to clean, easy to put together, and it comes with instructions on dismantling the lid for cleaning. Why I'd buy this if I hadn't already bought one: It will last. The cap might fail but can be replaced. The body? The body has a good shot at outlasting you and still being a decent tumbler. There are several options for caps to convert this from a hot flask, to travel mug (Which is this model), sports bottle or even a cup with built in straw. You're paying for build quality and flexibility as and when you need. Holds: One standard cup of tea or coffee or equivalent to a can of soda. Don't: Leave milk in there overnight (Go for non dairy creamer powder if you need that timeframe) Do: Feel smug as you enjoy the best travel mug you ever had. Or fill it full of ice and enjoy not freezing your hand or dripping condensation.

Excellent quality. Will last for many years. Lid was very easy to line up and screw in place. Water remained scolding hot for hours. Did not leak when tested. Colour is softer cream than picture shows.

A replacement for my poor battered older version, this is a little different - wider neck, odd bumpy 'threads', but still as easy to disassemble and clean, and appears to lose a little less heat through the top of the body

I've had several coffee flasks over the years and I was looking for something new with serviceable parts. The build quality is exceptional, the lid is easy to clean (followed a YouTube video to assist with this), I love the carry handle on the lid and it also helps with opening and closing the lid. I've had other brands where the lids never feel clean or the drinking section starts leaking (failed buttons) etc. I am very confident this won't happen again, if it does I can replace the lid rather than have to buy a new flask. I've had one minor leak so far and that was my fault for not closing the drinking opening, I won't be making that mistake again. If anything the flask is too well insulated, if I am going to be drinking my coffee within a couple of hours I have to leave to lid off for a while to let the coffee cool down a little. I haven't tried for cold drinks yet. Being able to buy alternative and replacement lids sealed the deal for me.

Bought this because the lid is easy to clean, but no benefit saying as this thing leaks absolutely everywhere.

As always Klean Kanteen are excellent and they keep product hotter for longer than any others. I have 3 of their flasks and they really do keep contents hot for 24 hours. The reason I marked this down a little is because you must close the drinking hole cover fully for it to work well and it is a little stiff. This can be an issue if driving as you really just want to pick up the flask and drink. The other issue is opening the flask to clean and fill. It is very tight and the metal ring is not fastened strong enough to be able to twist the top off, the ring comes away from the flask. It really needs to be fixed on better. It is a bugbear but I have found that if you don't put the top on all the way tight and use a towel or something to grip the top on removal you won't have have a problem. If you have week wrists or little strength in your wrists then it may not be suitable for you. Apart from that I would highly recommend it. I use mine daily and I no longer throw away cold tea or coffee.

Vacuum insulated - meaning if you fill with ice and a drink it’ll stay rattling with ice for 48 hours. Does not leak, took to Asia and had a cold monster or red bull at all times, good for teas and coffees too. Very easily cleaned, the lid comes apart in 5 easily dissembled & assembled pieces, the flask itself is easily cleaned too.

Excellent canister it keeps everything very cold and I take it to work every day

Easy to clean including the lid mechanism. Works great, keeps my coffee hot and doesn't mess with the taste. I hope they make one with porcelain on the inside, but the brands that have porcelain all smell funny so sticking with this one for now!

Does what a good travel mug does: keeps cold liquids cold, and hot liquids hot. But by far the most impressive feature is the drinking cap. Locks tight when not in use and has not leaked once in all my travels. The cap may be a little tricky to disassemble the first time for cleaning, but becomes very easy when you realize how the parts all fit only one way that makes sense.
