Hi guys Please help i want to know if this thermal pad is the correct one for use in graphics card heat sinks and in those of my motherboard.

It all depends on gap between components. If original had direct contact and used just a paste then stick with good quality paste like MX-4. If original had a gap and use thermal pad then try matching that thickness to new pad. Lots of times there are different components involved under same heatsink so if different thickness is used it leaves other component with gap (like CPU on video card) which will kill it almost instantaneously, so be very careful in choosing what to replace old stuff with. NEVER use these under high powered CPU's these pads can't handle the rate of heat transfer needed to cool those.

Is this adhesive?

Not really.  It's tacky, but even that, not much.  Ymmv.  I was trying to use it to affix heatsinks to my drv8825 stepper driver boards for my 3d printer.  They're tiny heatsinks, so it was a no go.  Perhaps if you have a 40x40mm contact area it would hold, but my small 10x10 just didn't cut it.  I'm using another similar one with similar tackiness though.  Just have to be really careful around the heat sinks until I print an enclosure for it!    Thermal transfer of these pads is good compared to 3m tape.  Still going to work on getting my gx extreme paste in its place with the enclosure!

Question 3

Can i buy the .5mm and if i need to fill a space of 1.5mm can i just stack 3 of the .5?

short answer, no.  It would be extremely inefficient and could definitely put your components at risk.  In my experience, typically most (I'm assuming this is for a graphics card) Nvidia graphics cards require .5 and 1.0 mm thermal pads.  There's a reason for that.  The thicker the thermal transfer interface, the less efficient it will be.  Which is why good coolers have fins instead of a chunk of metal.  Same goes for thermal paste and pads, thinner is better.  To a degree, of course, you can always be too thin.
Search online, it can be a tough subject to get a reliable answer for.  Ask in the forums (GeForce forums if it's Nvidia, overclock.net forums are good too) or contact customer support for your manufacturer if you don't have any luck.

Question 4

This product looks ideal for installing between MOSFETS and a heat sink in a Hi-Fi amplifier. But, can I drill holes through it?
