GREAT product if you have the right expectations!
This is a great product if you are wanting to heat "room temp" formula. It is not very effective at heating fridge cold formula in a timely fashion. Room temp liquids will be heated to body temp in 8 - 12 minutes and become warmer the longer you leave it in. Fridge chilled formula takes a while, like 20 minutes, if not longer and if you want it warm rather that aired. At the end of the day it depends how warm your baby takes it's formula as to how long it takes to do the job. Personally I love this product. My baby prefers warm formula, a bit over aired so a heating device of some description is required. As I have a 3.5 years old boy I don't like having to use boiling water (which was what I was having to carry around in a flask) as I worry about him knocking it over. This has solved that problem. Boiling the bags after use is a minor pain but mine liquidise very fast, 5 mins, so it's not a big deal. (Remember to place a tea towel at the bottom of your pain to prevent the insert accidentally sticking to the bottom!) I had initially bought a Dex Grab and Go bottle warmer but was unhappy with the neoprene cover. It didn't seem to grip very well around the insert & bottle (I use Dr Browns Short fat bottles) and seemed to leach heat. I then decided to buy this model as it has a fully surrounded cover. It was worth buying and in my opinion way superior to the Dex for holding in the heat. FYI:- If you use tall skinny bottles this warmer case will not work as it is not tall enough. You would need to look at DEX or Prince Lion Heart Models.

Loved it for the first 5-6 months
It was a life savior for my sister who was using it to heat my stored milk, because she would go out and feed my baby while she was out and this gave her an additional 2-3 hours until he got hungry/thirsty. However, after about 5-6 months the gel started heating up after a little movement, so she had a few surprises where she was ready to use it but it was already 'used up'...Mind you if you've never used it before, the strong heat only lasts enough to heat the milk, but then it starts cooling down, so if you miss that window, you cant use it. If you're on the go a lot in the first few months and you can't breastfeed for some reason, this is a great product...I don't regret buying it.

A Life Saver for on the go!!
I never ever ever write reviews, however having a newborn I am taking time aside because this product deserves it. I needed a bottle warmer for on the go where I won't have hot water readily available such as in restaurants. I have purchased the munchkin and phillips advet portable car bottle warmers (the kind that go into the cigarette outlet) and they are completely useless as their reviews show. Let me just tell you this bottle warmer has been amazing to me especially if you have realistic expectations. I have all my formula bottles chilled and travel with them in ice. It takes this bottle warmer about 10 minutes to be room temp and 15 minutes to be a tad bit warmer. It will not heat it to a very warm temp, but it gets it to a perfect room temp that for me that on the go is suitable for my son!I have used this at the pumpkin patch, a 3 hour car ride, trips to the mall and doctor appointments. You wouldn't beleive how relieved I feel having it in my trunk.Yes, it is a bit annoying that you need to heat it in boiling water (i do the full 10 minutes and set my stove timer) but who cares it releives my stress knowing I have it. To activate, you simply crack the silver round pin and within seconds it heats up and is ready to warm. I have purchased a 2nd pack so I can always have a backup ready to go especially for all day outings where i would need 2 bottles ;)I will tell you is does not fit the tall skinny doctor brown bottles with the lid on, but honestly save your money and just buy the heater pack for $10 and put a rubber band around it. i never put it back in the pouch. i simply put it in the cup holder of my bugaboo and it works perfectly. ahhhh i love this bottle warmer and the relief it provides me on the go.Obviously, it will take 10-15 minutes to warm (to room temp) a COLD bottle, so just simply time it for when you will need it and you will be good to go. Best purchase ever!!! Everytime I pull it out someone comments "oh, that is genius" YES IT IS!!! ;)

it doesn't work with regular size dr brown bottles
I'm searching for a while now for have my baby bottles warmed up when we are out with the kids. I was looking forward to use this bottle warmer as it looked like easy to use and not much hassle. well, I use regular size dr brown bottles 4oz and 8oz with regular size nipples and top. the fully assembled 8oz bottle doesn't fit inside the bag, only if I put flat cover top on it and assemble it later, which is not very cool. #2 the heater pouch is too big, when I put it around a bottle I'm unable to use the Velcro it's too short and bottle lose inside (heater doesn't touch the bottle) and doesn't heat up milk/water which is inside bottle at room temperature. #3 tried to use it without Velcro closing just to put around bottle and after into the travel bag, still doesn't heat up liquid which was put inside room temperature. #4 to deliquidize it has to go into boiling water, which is fine not a biggy but it takes hours to cool it down (if you try to "hurry" it up it crystalizes again) -annoyingly long time....this is my experience....

Works great, but you need a patient baby
I was looking for something that didn't require batteries or a car charger. This bottle warmer acts exactly as described. I use it to heat my daughter's refrigerated breastmilk on the go. It takes about 12 minutes to heat a 2 oz, wide style, bottle to a little warmer than room temperature if you just set the bag down. If you use a skinnier container, it will heat up faster (the more surface area of the milk next to the pad the faster it will change temperature). It will also speed the process if you shake or swirl the bag while you want it to heat up (this is basically how a convection oven works). I have never had any problems with boiling the pad to "reset" it. I have used it probably 5-7 times.
