Tohnichi Adjustable Torque Wrench QL5N-MH, 1-5 Nm

I was a mechanic years ago and I used top shelf quality tools. Fast forward 20 years and I don't need Snap On level (or price!) any more, but I am still just as concerned about getting high quality tools. I did a lot of reading and watched a lot of test videos on domestic brands before I found this wrench. When I found out Toyota (and other Japanese car manufacturers) use this brand of torque wrench to build their cars, I knew it would be good.Ordering was a breeze and because of the exchange rate, I got a fantastic price for the quality of the tool. I am changing out wheel bearing hubs and wanted to make sure I didn't over or under torque the new hubs. This tool has a very wide range of torque values and goes high enough for any fasteners on my car.I saw a lot of test videos where the torque wrench was not even close to specs, fresh out of the packaging, much less after 500 tightenings.Super easy to set and lock in your settings and the click is very easy to feel and hear once you achieve the needed torque.Very high quality at a value price!

I’ve owned some of the cheaper torque wrenches available here on Amazon like Lexivon. They get the job done, but the actual mechanics of these things are junky and not very intuitive.I’ve recently been switching out all of my junk Chinese tools with quality Japanese tools that, comparing to brands like Snap On and the other US manufacturers, still don’t break the bank but far exceed most of these brands in quality and reliability.These Tohnichi click torque wrenches are incredibly simple and intuitive to use. They’re also almost pieces of art.I got this specifically to torque down wheel lug bolts on my Audi 8V.5 A3 and it does the job perfectly. All bolts require 90nm of torque and that’s right in the sweet spot for this model.I also ordered a lower torque version for torquing down some other bolts around the car, including the oil filter housing.They’re built like a tank and are made to last.Highly recommended.

I cannot evaluate it professionally. But I can tell it's so well made with the feel on my hand.

This torque wrench has a micrometer style torque setting readout that is very easy to use and miles better than the competition. The torque wrench gives a solid audible click when set torque is reached. It comes with a calibration certificate that is legit. The only complaint I have is that the torque setting values in the window are faint w/o enough contrast to make them easy to read. In my opinion, this is the best non-electronic torque wrench - period.

Amazing torque wrench, the quality is top notch, click is superb. Big difference between chinese made junk vs japanese quality. You won't regret this purchase. Great for motorcycle work, small, compact. No case.

Not really a professional level tool.Torque value markings are a bit crude.End knob used to adjust torque requires a bit too much effort to turn. If your hands are oily you must use a rag to get enough grip to overcome the detents.Overall a decent tool but not quite the quality I was expecting.

You just can't find them from China. I wanted to have a regular sized torque wrench for my motorcycle and this is awesome. Thank you for still building a quality product. I will get over the price after I use it a while.

Very good torque wrench. Smaller than I thought but works perfectly fine. Not the most range but perfect for those delicate jobs.

Impressive build quality and overall feel. Fully made out of metal, no plastic or rubber handles and such.The click type graduated torque setting mechanism feels better than the mechanisms without positive graduation found on most other torque wrenches.

でかくて邪魔なサイズなら多々ありますが、このサイズを探していました。バイクの整備や車のオイル交換には最適な測定範囲／大きさです。中華国製の激安品の3倍くらいしますが、そもそもの「測定する意義」を顧みたら何の保証もない中華なんて選択できませんわ。クリック感も良い信頼の東日製。依存できる安心感の日本製はやはり頼もしい存在です。

すぐ使えると思って購入しちゃいましたが、本体だけです。もう少し購入者にすぐわかるように写真に「本体のみ」とか工夫してほしいです。
