Baiser Beauty Glowstick Peach

As someone looking to move to more natural health and beauty products, I was really excited to try out this organic cream blush. It comes in a super cute little jar that was contained in a drawstring fabric bag. Inside was a paper that listed the ingredients and application directions for their products, which I appreciated.I really liked the color of this peach blush. It was a little darker and more red-toned than orange-based than I expected for peach, but a very nice, rich color. The texture was a lot thinner than I anticipated. I thought it would be more thick and waxy, especially since the listing said it could be applied with fingers or a brush. However, it's more thin and glossy; it essentially "melts" from the heat of your fingers into a substance you can apply. It goes on nicely and feels wonderful, but is just different than what I was expecting. While it does give a bit of a tint, I didn't think it was very substantial. It's more of a "fresh, natural glow" kind of coloring and provides completely different (and less pronounced) results than a powder blush does. I did appreciate that it didn't at all feel or look oily or greasy and actually seemed to moisturize my cheeks some. It really does feel wonderful and like it's doing good for your face while it's on. I will say that for all-day color you will need to reapply a time or two.As a blush, I'm not sure it's ideal for me. I do think there are those who will absolutely love this product for that purpose though. I think it just depends on the look and intensity you're going for. I'll be using it as a blush on casual, "fresh-faced" days where I'm wearing just a bit of mascara and lip gloss and want to add just a hint of color to my cheeks. More often though, I'll be using it as a lip tint because I tried it as such and absolutely love it for that. A tiny bit goes a long way to give great color there.Like you, I rely on reviews when selecting products to purchase. This blush isn't bad, just strange.I was surprised when I received the package. The container that this product comes in is HUGE for blush- more the size of a loose powder container. The blush itself is waxy and sheer. I was worried that it would cause breakouts/clog pores, but that did not seem to be the case. I felt like the color was very light, and so I had to put a lot on to get the effect that I wanted.On a positive note, this has a light, pleasant sent. The formulation makes it very easy to control the exact placement of the blush, and it is easy to blend. I don't think that this will replace powder blush for me, but someone who prefers a more natural "no-makeup makeup" look might love it.I received this product at a discounted price in return for an honest review.

Every time I buy a blush, I usually pick one that is too pink or if it is a cream blush one that fades quickly. When I got this in the mail, I was surprised at how big it was and the great quality of the glass container, and it was in a cute little bag. I loved the color and seeing that I have a an olive skin tone, peach is a great color for me to use. When I opened the container to use it for the first time, it was a little hard to reach the blush. I don’t have long nails, but they are not cut short either and I was not able to reach the blush without stabbing it with my nail. Once I put it on, I was very happy with the color but it does not last as long as my powder blushes.I received this product at a discounted price for my honest and unbiased review.
