Simple, elegant, and functional: One hand-forged sterling (.925) silver hair pin, approximately 3" to 3-1/2" long overall. The pin is wavy to help hold and tame even the most difficult hair. They've been tested (and work) with both exuberantly curly hair and straight slick hair. When used in buns and up-dos most of the pin will be hidden in your hair, leaving only a subtle silver shine at the bend. I've always loved archaeology/anthropology and ancient things. These pins are a straightforward re-creation of an item that would have been in use a thousand years ago.
