It's good
Very basic, not too in depth look at the life of Albert Einstein. Hits the major plot points of his childhood and growing up in Germany and Austria and the highlights of his time in the US. Reads almost more like a dry dossier than a biography. I don't know that there's any new revelations here, certainly nothing scandalous or mind blowing. All in all, a good book and a good basic primer on Einstein if you're interested. It's cheap as free and was worth the couple hours or so to read, so one can't complain too much.

Great reading
I am not one to like autobiography or such type books but this one is really amazing. This book is really interesting you would never realize what he went through in his life. He moved to different countries multiple times while pursuing his career and research. I never realized he was a teacher. From what I read he wasn't a very good one but he was really well liked in one of the schools he taught. He was brilliant to say the least. It really is a good book and I am learning a lot about his life from this book. This book is hard to put down but that's a good thing. I paid for this book on kindle.

A True Genius in History!
Absolutely a real page turner and one testament I'd recommend for an anytime or summer time read on the beach. I've seen many documentaries about Mr. Einstein so I was aware of his life and accomplishments and encounters with competitors. This is an excellent recount of his life.I would also recommend this book to those studying the life of Einstein as well as science because he was such a genius and very interesting though it provides insight that we all should attempt what may seem to be the impossible. It is quite fascinating to learn what he made possible and what we take for granted using what he created is in use now and well beyond .

Fun, quick read
Fun, quick read. I received a discount on this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This author does a really good job at explaining Einstein's life and the reasoning behind his actions and motivations, which is something I never got in my own studies as a science major. I really appreciate the author's entertaining and effective writing style on topics that I originally thought to be a little dull and boring. I would definitely recommend this book and any other book written by this author to anyone even remotely interested in any of these topics!

I appreciated the fact I could finish this in a couple of days and and get a good snapshot of his life
This was a quick read of a complex man. I appreciated the fact I could finish this in a couple of days and and get a good snapshot of his life. This is not an in depth book of his accomplishments but more of a book on who he was as a person.

Well researched book on Einstein
Thought provoking story about Albert Einstein. The author did a lot of research. While I learned many things I did not know about this complex genius I wish he would have prepared a timeline even as an exhibit that tracked his life. I could have used another 50-100 pages to flesh out some of the details. As it is, a lay person or student could read this book and walk away with an understanding of the man. Another suggestion would be an reference chapter addressing the advancements in science which have supported relativity in the 65 years since his death.

perfect book
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was well written. Anyone who wants to learn about Einstein without reading a bunch of unnecessary fillers, this is the perfect book. It taught me all about his life without being too drawn out. It never became boring. It also seems to be well edited, which is a huge plus as I come across too many books that don't seem edited at all! I received this book at a discount in exchange for an honest review.

Interesting and fascinating book on Albert Einstein!
Such an interesting read! I learned so much about Albert Einstein by reading this book. The book is broken down into different sections of his life. Talks about his science over religion, theories, and even failures. It's so amazing to read so many details about someone who really had an impact on our world as we know it today. Fantastic book!

A Good insight into a Icon
This Ebook was available to download immediately and as a reader of factual historical books and also Biographies I was hoping for something in-between with this Ebook.I still like the warmth and tactile feel of a physical book but am also willing to read other types of media also as this usually means a cheaper price! This Ebook is written by Alexander Kennedy and is in a series of books of inconic and history making men.The series includes:Albert Einstein – A Life of GeniusBenjamin Franklin – A Life of BrillianceSir Isaac Newton – A Life of DiscoveryCharles Darwin – A Life of EvolutionThomas Edison – A Life of InventionSo as you can see there is a theme to the Ebooks and makes a nice little collection. This Ebooks chronicles the life of one of history’s greatest Scientists whose theories, practices and theories have stood the test of time. Einstein has become a icon in art as well as the scientific field with his picture being displayed in all manner of ways in modern pop culture. The Ebook is well written, easy to use and follow, although sometime just grazes over parts of Einstein’s Life and Works. If you are wanting the everything you need to know about Einstein the man and his work this is not for you, but it does have a suitable depth for you to know an awful lot about him and his background. Not going to give to much away in this write up but from his beginnings back in Germany to his arguably greatest works the Theory of Relativity and well known equation E=MC2. It is all there for you.Disclaimer: I received this item kindly from the seller at a discounted rate or free of charge for a 100% honest and unbiased review.I only pick items which I have a desire or need for therefore it is easy for me to test and review the items fairly. Not for me but maybe perfect for others
As someone who has lived Einstein, his work and his life for many years I was looking forward to another engrossing read.Unfortunately, although most of the information is correct some is open to debate. If you know nothing about Einstein and need some quotes for an essay or something then this book is ideal for you. The headings make it easy to find the section you require. Or if you want something you can dip into for a few minutes this may be for you. However, for me the style of writing was too disjointed and I found it difficult to read for any length of time. I just could not connect with the flow. The facts are padded out with conjecture and third hand references regarding his personal life. As I opened this review though I have studied Einstein in some depth in many formats and perhaps this is clouding my opinion. Please note I was given this book free in exchange for a completely unbiased opinion. My reviews are always based on personal experience with the products under review. If you have found this review helpful please tick the yes box below

Does not divulge into science
Einstein: A Life of Genius | The True Story of Albert Einstein (Historical Biographies of Famous People)These are the kindle versions, which are incredibly easy to download, just one click on the PC and its sent straight to my kindle cloud reader as part of my prime service. The book discuss' the fields and concepts he tackled rather than delving into the science behind it, and so remains accessible to everyone, although if you don't have much of a grasp of physics you may find yourself looking up some terms.have to say most of the things in this book i already knew from studying him in my younger years, but it was a great way to refresh my memory of some of his great work and doings. This is one of many of his books that i have read, and I like his writing technique. Easy to understand but insightful.Even though I recived a discount on this product i have tested it and gave my review on the full price of this item to give the best review i could as if you was paying full value of this product.Hope my review has been good enough in giving you a complete understanding of how this product is and helps you make your mind up when deciding if to order it or not.Disclaimer - I received this product at a discounted rate or free for review purposes however this does not alter my view in any way as this is my very own honest and unbiased opinion!! I hope this may help with any questions in the futureLike many people on Amazon, I rely heavily on customer reviews being honest and helpful which is exactly what I have tried to achieve with my review. I try review items I already need or have a strong interest in so in order I can provide a review based on a real genuine trial so my opinions and experiences with the product are an actual true reflection of my experience with the itemPlease give this review a like if you find it helpful, thank you for reading and have a good day.

Great book
What a great book - filled in so many gaps with so much knowledge that I hadn't got, or knew about, before.Very well written, easy to read too!Congratulations to the author on a great book.Product reviewI received this product free to trial from the retailer in return for an honest review. The views presented are completely my own and represent what I truly believe. You can see from my previous feedback for products, where there was no incentive, that I have generally been very positive in my ratings. This is because before I buy anything, I research it thoroughly and am highly selective in what I do buy, so that I am not shocked or disappointed with what I get. I look at things like ingredients, product uses, packaging, price and any previous feedback. I use these basic criteria to rate quality, usefulness and value for money. If the products I buy fit the criteria I set, then this generally results in positive feedback for the product, as I have already semi-appraised before buying. The same principle applies to the reviews I agree to undertake. The products I choose to review, are all products that I genuinely want to try out and it only helps the seller if I leave accurate and honest feedback. Anything less, would not only be detrimental to the consumer but also to me as the reviewer and the seller.I believe that constructive criticism can only serve to improve the quality of the products being sold. Sorry for being so long-winded!

Interesting and easily digestible read for fans of biographies and non-fiction
This title is a respectable, if not overly long, 148 pages long, and provides an interesting biography of Albert Einstein, known for his groundbreaking theory of relativity and his iconic image which has inspired countless posters, T-shirts, coffee mugs and calendars... and even, as my fellow Aston University alumni will remember, gave his name to the student union bar!It does a good job of juxtaposing Einstein's years with the events of the world at the same time, which provides a good frame of reference. There are unfortunately a few typographical errors which have slipped through the editing process but they didn't really affect my enjoyment of the book.I am only part way through as yet, but so far I'm finding this to be an interesting and enlightening non-fiction title, and will definitely be continuing to read it.Please note that I received this Kindle title for free in exchange for an honest review.
