Awesome, Simple, Got the job done!
I never write reviews, but seeing how the previous ones on this helped me decide to purchase this, I thought I'de leave one. This device is awesomely simple and efficient. I'm in love with Michael Kors watches, which have strap widths of 14 cm, and cannot fit into the other horizontal-laying link removal tools listed. I had bought one for my first MK, and it fixed it, but all the pins broke, with this tool, however, the pointy tool (i dont know what it's called) is sturdy and easily pushed the pins out with no more than 3 swift knocks of a hammer. There was a slight knick to one of the links, but that's because I let the pointy tool move. The trick is to guide it with your finger a bit as u knock the head. No, it won't hit your finger! But yeah, it made sense and I can use it again and again for any more watches that I buy (which annoyingly are already expensive enough).

You need more knockout pins than what it is shipped with
It worked for the project I bought it for. It performed much better than screw devices.

This one actually works
This one actually works. I have bought several of the screw type and they kept falling apart. I have a family with small wrists so I am always having to remove links from watches. This one is so easy. I use a small hammer to finish the job. Haven't scratched any of the watches fixed so far.

Pass
Not as good as the kit that comes with the hammer. You would need to buy both, it this once just isn’t really needed.

Quick and easy tool.
Quick and easy - works like a charm. On my watch bands the removable links have direction arrows indicating the direction to remove the pin. This tool made removal or addition of links no task at all; however, you will also need a small hammer and in some cases a pair of needle nose pliers may also be required to completely remove the pin once it has been started using the Link Removal Tool. In my case, once the pins were started they were easily pulled just using my fingers.

Save lots of money
Size your own and or others watch bands. If you like watches like I like watches it will pay for itself very quickly. Easy to use; you don't have to be a jeweler to use it. Well worth the money.

Very poor design. I am experienced with Watch link removal and had high hopes for this. But the tips break off due to poor desig
This item is very cheaply made and not practical for most watches. It is very poorly designed for its purpose. I regularly remove and add watch links and I had high hopes for this when I ordered it but the first time I used it I knew it was not designed properly. The most important part of removing any links is that the band has to be perfectly lined up with the pin pusher. The pin pushers are very fine metal and the tips will break if they are at any kind of angle. This device virtually assures the band will be at at tilt and therefore there is a very good likelihood that the pin removal tip will break off and that is exactly what happened the first time I used it. There is almost no way to lie a watch band on this device to get a straight in push. With the Plier type link removal tool I usually use, I break a tip off maybe every 100th watch. This one broke the tip the first time. So its back to my link removal pliers! On the positive side it only cost me about $6.00 so I am not out much but I should have known it was too good to be true!

Super. Easy to use
Super. Easy to use. Pins are short but that saves on possible bending from the pin being too long on the shaft. I use either extra small needle nose pliers or a small drift pin about an inch long (heavy duty paper clip donor materiel) to finish the task.
