Helps maintain optimum humidity by generating fine fog at scheduled intervals, duration and frequency can be easily adjusted depending on the type of animals or plants in the terrarium. Frequent spraying helps stimulate reproductive behavior and is imperative when tropical plants such as bromeliads, orchids and mosses live in the terrarium. The system can be programmed to spray several times per 24-hour cycle for periods of between 2 seconds and 2 minutes. The large tank ensures continuous operation for several days without the need for refilling, and the tank can be easily refilled without the need to uninstall the entire system. The Exo Terra Monsoon comes in two varieties, with 1 nozzle for easy installation or with 2 nozzles (in the case of the 2 nozzles it is ideal for up to 2 terrariums). Please note that each additional nozzle will result in a lower output of each installed nozzle. Would it be effective to try more?** A: For a small unit, it may do 2 and no more. **Q: How many days a full tank last on the minimum mist level?** A: Depends on how often and how long but a full reservoir probably can last up to a week or more, mine stays filled about 3-5 days and it mists every 4 hours for 30 seconds.
