Disappointed and Didn't Need It.
Perhaps I knew more about HTML than I thought I did, but reading this book gave me very little information. I don't think it was the content as much as the way it was presented. There were tiny little charts that were too small to read on my kindle. Also the suggested code for accomplishing various things was almost indistinguishable from the text, so I found it difficult to try out text on my site. There were several important things for me that were not covered such as explaining page and layout design in html, a glossary of terms, and a bit of discussion of SEO. A few design features such as colored text, boxes for html codes explaining when and why one would use them, and information on reading html in a Word Press template. I don't recommend this book for beginners in html. Intermediate or profession user wouldn't need it.

This book is not only for beginners who wanted to learn html but as well as a good refresher for those who already have a backgr
I can still remember way back when I attended a training for basic HTML. Nowadays things have changed, it is more advanced. The attributes stays as it is but there are things on this book that we haven't learned before. We only have tags before now there is meta tags. This book is not only for beginners who wanted to learn html but as well as a good refresher for those who already have a background with it. Html would be a lot easier especially if you have a guidebook like this.

This is an awesome tutorial for starter web designers and developers
This is an awesome tutorial for starter web designers and developers. There are also practical examples included and this book provides a simple overview of it for better comprehension for beginners. I had absolutely no confusion throughout the book and I am delighted that I have this starter guide to look back into if ever I have trouble. Of course I do have textbooks and stuff to help me, but this book was much easier to understand due to its clear and brief language. Also I really appreciate the color card included here. Needless to say, that my sample work turned out really colorful.

Highly recommended!
This book is literally needed to be read by those who are just getting started into creating a website yourself. It's pretty much interesting as well as going through some of the pages in the book that keeps you invested to read more about it. The guide lines were really informative and direct to the point that it's simple to understand. I say it's fundamental to read this book for starters. I've read a lot of books created by William and they're great as usual. I found this book very useful and helpful. It's a must to buy something like this especially when you're in need of help in starting a website. It has a lot to offer. Really commendable for such a very affordable price, it's really worth the purchase.

A very good beginner’s handbook
I learnt that HTML means hyper text markup language from reading this book. Our world is changing and has changed significantly and therefore I have to try to keep abreast with the latest technology to be of relevance in today’s world.Although this book is geared at aspiring developers and web developers I was impressed and I learnt a lot by reading it even though I am neither of the two. I know this book will be valuable to me as I strive to learn more and more about technology and who knows as I develop my online business I may very well need to build a website and I will have this precious book to help me.

Learning web design. A cool guide.
I am a beginner with HTML and this book is very informative to let me understand how this kind of computer language devises works. HTML sounds a bit hard to me, but it simply means it is a language for describing web-pages using ordinary text. I want to learn this since this is what I’m going to need when making my own website. So far, the tutorials I’ve read in this book have explained in enough detail with practical examples and simple overview. This helps me gain knowledge in making webpages. This is a good reference about HTML.

its a good book.
I'm not a newbie in this area. I used to take up this subject when I was in High School. I was fairly good at it, creating simple websites that had buttons that actual work, click and send you to another site. It was a fun experience but it's just not my forte at that time. Fast forward to College (now) where I am looking for different ways on how to earn extra cash for things that I like to spend on. I remember my Computer teacher telling me one time that if I master HTML coding I can actually earn hard cash on it. That was an option I was willing to explore so here I am. The thing is it's been 2 years since then and I've forgotten the basic name and codes. It's a good thing that this book has it all. It's simple to read the words are not that deep and explains thoroughly. I also learned new things about HTML like Phrase Tags, Meta Tags and such. There's also a page for Browser Safe Colors which I know will come in handy in the web designing field.A really helpful book. I recommend this to beginners because as I said it's thoroughly explained and you won't be left hanging in the air with this. It's organized and discussed in a spaced and well-ordered manner.
