The old large plate is approximately 2 5/8" by 1 3/4". The XL plate is 2 1/4" by 2 1/4" **Q: Will this work if placed inside an Otterbox MySymmetry case between phone and the insert (card stock like)?** A: I grabbed these to actually stick to the back side of the otter box.
