I contacted Customer service on the poor shape the product was in. My complaint was answered quickly and a replacement was sent the next day.. The fruit was fresh and full.. Again if you are looking for a fruit basket for a Special Someone this will be the one to order..

Got this for my elderly mom for an early Mother's Day gift. She had to toss most of it. You know that GORGEOUS photo you see on the ordering page? What she received looked NOTHING like that. A ton of packing material and one layer of fruit. Oranges were OK but most of the rest of the fruit was hard as a rock, not just "about to be ripe." And tucked down in the packing? A pineapple that was rotting, fuzzy and stinking. Completely disgusting. Happy Mother's Day, huh? I talked with Amazon and got a refund, but this was a really disappointing Mother's Day "surprise." Never again, Golden State Fruit.P.S. I paid $73 including tax. And a fruit basket is clearly a gift, right? Well, Golden State Fruit included a packing slip with the price on it. So I had to get an email from my mom telling me how the fruit basket was awful AND that I paid too much. Joy!

The fruit may look a little aged or not as polished as some vendors send but it tastes wonderful! there were items in there I never have purchased before and so its an experience or adventure not bad of course subjective. Price value here you can go to your local grocer and see that. Basket can be utilized decor or function as well as ribbon. My message was not included but after the ordering experience I am still trying to process what went wrong. I will say the vendor provided what they show thank you and Amazon delivered

The box arrived in poor condition. The fruit inside looked like it had been run over by a truck. This is inexcusable.
