Has it worked just fine without blowing out & dying due to voltage varinace?** A: I bought this flat iron from Remington last time, the moment I plugged in the European outlet, it fried and shorted the outlet right away. However I have found that the temperature select button can sometimes be accidentally pressed but it doesnt happen often. Also the curling iron does have an auto shutoff feature in case it is left plugged in but not in use. I yt? D a very good curling iron. My hair is long (down to waist) and I get long lasting curls with this iron. **Q: Are these the professional series products? those with the white box?** A: I am not sure what that is, but what I received was a normal retail package like you see on the shelves at your local department store. **Q: Is the voltage dual?
