This product is very effective in teaching children about emotions. It gives them a hands on approach to learning and interacting with the materials to develop a deeper understanding of emotions and facial cues. It also gives us the opportunity through the stories to open a dialogue based on their learning level about appropriate and inappropriate social interactions. This is a bit frustrating for a mental health clinician since you only get like 5 foam faces. You need to get your own supplies. There's not alot in the box. I would say that if you're just getting it for your own child, the game is great. I was just disappointed. Perhaps I just didn't understand what it was about. I just need more items to work with 26 children.

We bought this as a social/emotional development activity for our almost 3 year old. The story, and face making activities included to help understand and express emotions were well within his abilities. I am positive he will grow into the discussion points, and word search included in this craft. Really, a nice activity kit for those prepping for pre-k and beyond.

A very hands on activity for young minds.As a Teacher and Educator of young children I find the Feelings and Faces kit to be something that engages children and allows them to express their emotions constructively through this craft.It helps open up a conversation with my students about how different situations make them feel. They really enjoy the process of creating the faces with the materials provided.Best of all it has everything I need to complete the activity so that means zero prep time for me;). I absolutely LOVE all Happy Heart Kid products and would highly recommend them....

As an Occupational Therapist working with children who have special needs, I found this product to be inferior to other products on the market. I feel that saying it is used by OT's is really for marketing. It is probably a product best used by parents in their home. It is by no means a professional therapy product. If anything, it is a bit of a rip off. The materials are low end. Each one is a 1 time use with very limited variety. The foam faces have potential to be used for something but the rest of the materials are a far stretch from quality. I will be checking out the return policy.

We had hours of fun and enjoyed making faces of our friends and family.

We took this kit with us on international travel. Our three year old isn't old enough to do it on her own, but it provided good conversation starters and she loved to draw on and glue the faces.

I think the age should be changed for older children. I find this to hard for a 3 year old to get.
