These are great umbrellas for the beach! We have found them to be very sturdy and they handle windy conditions well. Love the large size. Easy to carry in the bags with strap.

Great umbrella
I like this umbrella a lot. It is a thicker material which gives it that uvf protection. It is not like the cheap $10 umbrellas you get at those W mart places. The colours are very bright and vivid. They remind me of your primary colours and with green added. The umbrella comes in a great canvas storage bag. I have always have the plastic bags and they rip instantly. This was so much easier to slide the umbrella back into. There is a strap on the bag that makes it easy to carry and a drawstring to keep it closed. The pole goes into the sand but I would recommend using a screw base to put it into the sand. Our beach was very windy and the sand was hard. I tried to get this into the ground as much as I could but it was not easy and I left my screw base at home. So once the pole was in the sand I put the top part into the pole and closed the lever to keep it in place. I opens the fabric to find the pole and pushed up the umbrella. It slides up easily and pops into place when it gets to the right spot. I used the tilt function to angle it so it would not fly away and it worked great. This umbrella is great for beach days and with the added uvf protection, it is a needed item. I received this item for free in exchange for an honest and unbiased review

the wind killed it!
Took this umbrella to Florida in June '16 and worked perfect for the first 4 days on the beach and then a gust of wind broke it...boo!

Piece of junk
If you need a non-functioning umbrella this item is for you. The piece of tin that was supposed to hold the umbrella open did not. The fabric was sheding a million strings. Total and complete waste of time.

Pretty nice but tip came loose first time it went into the sand. Good colors easy to spot.

Does not withstand the slightest breeze. Used it once and already the struts are bent. Tilt feature was nice
