The 'popcorn' texture seems to trap less dirt and is easier to shake out. I think this surface is also why it seems to dry faster than the conventional carpet-type mats. It is very soft and cushy on the feet. Completely non-skid. Within the few months I've had it I've already washed it twice and it still looks new - no hanging threads or staining or thinning strands anywhere.

Overall, I'm not super impressed with this mat. I loved it at first, but soft squishiness of it seemed to get flattened pretty quickly. One good thing that I like is the grip bottom. It doesn't slide around on the floor. The color is nice and looks like the picture. However, I probably would not purchase again. I prefer fluffy or soft bath mats.

This was the perfect size and color. It is absorbent and feels great on your feet. I don't have to wash as often because it quickly dries. Happy with the quality

I really like these rugs (I bought two). The color is great they are not super fluffy so they don't interfere with the door opening and closing. They stay put, no slipping around. I have not yet washed them so if that turns out terrible I will update this review.
