I use this clip-on tuner on my 6 and 12 strings acoustic guitars.I use it in a chromatic mode since I tend to use different kinds of tuning on my guitars.But, it can easily be turned back to standard tuning at the push of a button.I believe these kind of tuners work by sensing the vibrations of the strings going across the wood in the neck of the guitar.You clip this tuner on the head of the guitar, as close to the neck as possible. It fits perfectly right before the first tuning peg.Another feature of this tuner that I love is that you can tilt it back, while clipped on, so it doesn't become a distraction while playing.The green display is perfect size and bright enough to see it in a dark room as well as daylight.This is a battery powered tuner. However, this one comes with a battery included.Now, I've purchased other tuners with similar features, but they did not last.I unclipped them once off the guitar, and they broke.This one has all the features I need, and it feels like it will last.

Pros:Easy To UseFastFunctionalGood QualityCons:The chromatic readings sometimes bounces between enharmonics. i.e. will read E for a moment then switch to Fb. Could be confusing for beginners.Lighted display is very crisp. The grip on the clip is firm. Has a power saving feature which auto dims. Overall this is a good buy if your looking for a nice vibration tuner. I cannot speak for the battery life. I’ve been using it for 2 weeks.

I never thought I would find a clip on tuner I liked as much as my Snark, but this is it. I am really impressed with this tuner. It is easy to use easy to read and very well made.. I have been checking it with my Boss Chromatic tuner pedal and it is dead on accurate.. Love it you will too.
