This bat house kit is designed to meet all Bat Conservation International (BCI) certification requirements, and is BCI Certified once built and painted. Its unique tab and slot design makes assembly so easy a first grader can do it. The kit comes mitered, grooved and ready to assemble. Includes screws and complete instructions for assembly, color choice and placement guidelines. This Bat House is the same design we use in our bat house building workshops. Available roost volume = 440 cubic inches This two chamber kit can house an estimated 100 - 200 bats* (depending on species). Also available in a one and three chamber design with greater bat capacity. *We attempt to be honest with our estimates allowing approx. 3 cubic inches for each bat. This includes an allowance for unused space since the bats will not pack the house top to bottom. Some species will crowd in very tightly, others will not thus the true capacity will be a range not a specific number. Our volume measurement excludes the volume consumed by the internal baffles and all bat house capacities should be compared using volume, not a count of bats.

easy to assemble
H4B products and support are 5-star. The 2-chamber, all-wood bat box is solid, easy to assemble, and easy to install (OK, you may need a ladder or stilts). I've purchased some 40+ boxes from H4B and they have all been well-machined and of uniformly good quality. Instructions and assembly hardware are included, and their Web support, including self-help videos, seal the deal.

Great Bat House!
These 2 chamber bat houses are the perfect size for a good size colony of bats. Habitat for Bats houses are so easy to assemble and made of good quality woods. The wood is perfectly cut for a good fit and then you just screw it together. They are attractive to humans with the two bat designs on them.
