Prestone BugWash Summer Windshield Washer Fluid is specially designed to improve Summer driving visibility. Road grime, bug residue and bird dropping can be very difficult to remove while driving. Prestone BugWash is designed to dissolve and Power Clean and, with special nanotechnology, it is also designed to repel future grime from sticking. Water beading technology will help keep the windshield clear of water when driving. This product is streak and glare free, along with being safe for rain sensing technology windshields.

Unlike other brands, does not leave any reside or streaks and quickly removes bugs and other contaminants that end up on my windshield. Typically don't care about the color (which just seems to be a brand identifier mostly), but unlike some of the pink fluids, this does not leave a noticeable residue that is visible when it dries on surfaces. Have to see how well this holds up in the AZ summer heat next year.

**Q: Does this taste the same as the blue kind?**
A: I’m going to get a lot of hate for this, but I honestly think this one tastes better. The blue one tastes like chemicals (red flag). This one tastes very natural. Like pine and orange peel with the “tummy burn” of a nice vodka. It’s very versatile and pairs very well with pasta, salad, or steak. You really can’t go wrong with this. And at $6/bottle it’s MUCH cheaper than wine. If I overdo it it gives me a headache though, and sometimes my vision goes black but it usually comes back within a day or so.

**Q: How concentrated is this? Do you have to add water as mixture?**
A: HI,
For this product, there is no mixing. It's ready to use right out of the bottle.

**Q: What are the ingredients?**
A: I don't know because the label doesn't say nor does their website at www.prestone.com. It can be fatal if swollowed. It is a very good product for summer use. You might consider calling them.

**Q: Can i use this like a window cleaner...put it in a spay borttle ..spray on my windshield ans wipe it off?**
A: Sure, but wouldn’t Windex be cheaper and more effective? Windshield cleaner is formulated to not bubble when sprayed.  That’s not necessary for fluids not traveling that fast, so you don’t pay for it in household cleaners. I’d recommend not using it outside of the car windshield cleaner system.

I’ve been buying this for years and it’s the only washer fluid that I use. NOTE: I live in a non-extreme weather environment with typical morning frost on windshield during winter months. (29-ish to 44-ish degrees lowest morning temperature range in the coldest part of winter). No snow/major ice.
