This is an unusual product in that it is really heavy duty. However, that also means that it is heavy. That can be good or bad depending on how it is used. The unit is well made. It will last a long time. It has two positions for the legs. One position is so the legs are nearly horizontal with the table. The other is so the stand is a lot more upright. I like the height of the extended position, but the legs are not far enough apart for putting an expensive camera on it. It would not take much of a bump to send it tipping over. The ends of the legs do not slide easily on the table, which is a good thing, but it causes the bottom to say put and the top will tip if bumped. When the legs are low to the ground, it is extremely stable. The legs also take some energy to get them to pull apart. That is good and bad. If you grab the stand to move the camera to carry it around, it is very cumbersome to get the legs back together. And then it is cumbersome to pull the legs back out. There is an included allen wrench that may indicate that the legs can be loosened a bit. It did not try that.If the stand was made a bit longer I think the tipping issue would resolve itself because they could make the stop so the legs were farther apart at the same height it is now. This would add weight, but this stand is not usable for a talking head video anyways. I purchased this stand to also use it for talking head videos while walking, but it is too heavy; my arm would give out quickly, especially if you add a swivel head on it. (Which I did so I could tilt the camera.)

I liked it, but the three legs are independently adjustable which makes it harder to use on a level surface.It’s bigger than it looks, too.

I use the tripod top mount a 3-9ft adjustable monopod and a 360 camera. Other tripods were not able to provide the stability and rigidness needed but this one works great
