I liked the style of this bag in the pictures a lot, but when I got it, I was disappointed. The bag is much bulkier than it appears in the images. Also, there are extra straps that aren't really visible in the images (chest and waist straps). These straps don't really add much functionality, but they do add to the bulk of the bag.I like the idea of being able to change it into a backpack or messenger bag, but it wasn't really practical. The bag is too big and bulky to work as a daily messenger bag, and as a backpack it is an odd shape that makes it look weird on your back (it sits up really high on the back, even if you lower the straps).There are plenty of compartments, but there's really not a lot of actual room in the bag. My old messenger bag that is half the size of this bag can carry almost the same amount of stuff. Also, the arrangement of the compartments and the placement of the smaller pouches inside are too far down in the bag to allow quick access; you have to dig around and you almost need a flashlight to find what you're looking for in the smaller compartments.Overall, this is a good looking bag of high-quality materials, but it was just too awkward and bulky for me. I returned this bag and will be looking for something a little more practical.

This pack is awesome! I took this on a recent business trip and it was a star! I was able to pack my laptop, notebook and change of clothes without looking bulky at all. I also used it during the day to just hold my laptop (which is a big), wallet, etc and it was modern and well styled.The REAL moment for me and the bag is when I flipped it to a backpack. I was as the end of my journey and decided since I was tired, it would be easier to carry my stuff on my back. The plane was already unloading and I was able to switch it from a shoulder bag to a backpack by the time it was my turn to deplane (aisle 7). The guy sitting next to me was in awe.The straps are well padded without being bulky and there is a cushion area that fit the small of my back just right! Anyone who travels frequently out of Atlanta airport knows that the journey from plane to baggage claim can we daunting. With the Dusroc my load was amazingly light!I will be getting the other color shortly. Can you guys make a Navy Blue version?

I really like the design. Just got a management position and I needed to transition from my old college book bag to something a little bit more professional. After perusing Amazon I found this bag. I like the design and layout of the bag, and it's very comfortable. I like that the straps are made out of the same material that my seat belts are. The only thing that stopped me from giving this a full 5 stars, is that I felt the craftsmanship on some of the leather pieces was a tad bit off. Otherwise I'm very happy with my purchase and I hope that I get as much wear and tear out of it as my old bag.

I really like it. My wife tells me I’m too old to carry a backpack, but there are times when I am traveling that the backpack straps are useful.This bag accomplishes all the things I need and makes me look more professional and cooler as well – or at least my teenage son said so.You won't be able to haul around a library like I did previously with my backpack, but it has good compartments for all your basic gear.Keep making the colors like onyx black that look a little more professional.Update: I have been hauling this bag all over the world and the quality and functionality of this bag is tremendous. There are some cheaper Chinese bags that are similar. I ordered one along with this and sent the Chinese one back. This was US designed and you can tell. The quality is really high. This is a well-constructed multi-functional backpack. I specifically wanted something that looked like a business bag, that would travel well and had ample storage capacity without being too big. This backpack met those needs. The only complaint I have is that the zippers get caught / jammed more frequently than most packs, so you have to be a bit more careful when zipping the main compartment... it can be annoying. Other than that no issues at all.

High quality accurate description buy with confidenceUpdate: The strap buckle broke with only limited use. There is a weak spot in the metal snap where a small knob sits inside a metal clasp. That's where it broke. Really dissapointed because it's a great bag otherwise . However it needs to function or else it's useless. Am looking for a return and refund.

The Dusroc far exceeded my expectations, a fantastic bag for anyone. I love how versatile it is, and the quality of the product is as good, if not better than bags that are far more expensive. Not only is there many different compartments to store anything you need, you are able to wear the bag 5 different ways to fit your needs. I use mine everyday for work as a briefcase and when I travel its easy to change it to a backpack and/or a computer bag. I wont need another bag for a very long time now that I have this! Great purchase!

I bought this backpack for my 15 year old Grandson who is a Sophomore in High School. He wanted this particular backpack because he can use it as a backpack and a briefcase. I like it because it has plenty of compartments to keep his notebooks, pens, computer and everything else. He loves the unique design and feels that it stands out compared to the backpacks in the store. Overall I think its a great buy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to purchase a backpack that stands out from the "norm".
