Man With Vest was done in 1953, when I was an art student at The Educational Alliance in Manhattan. Local people would be invited to sit for the "life classes." It is charcoal on paper, 21 inches high by 16 inches wide; and 25 by 21 inches, framed. I signed and dated the drawing on the front. As with all my sold work, I send a letter of provenance, which increases the value of the work. The drawing is copyrighted by Eleanor Gilpatrick. Copyright is nontransferable through the purchase of artwork.
