If I could give this zero stars, I would. This "microphone" is not even close to being big enough for a child. It very literally would look at home in a doll's hands. Please see the pictures I'm posting. I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. I will say that it does look like the picture, although that does literally no good considering it's completely functionless. It doesn't work at all. I plugged it into my laptop and tried it out on Audacity. It didn't pick up anything at all, even with all the settings maxed out. This thing is complete garbage. The ONLY thing it might be good for is as a prop for a doll.Even though I received this product at a substantial discount in exchange for my honest and unbiased review, that in no way guarantees that I will give positive feedback or a five star rating (as you can plainly see). In this case, I would not recommend this product to anyone. I'll be throwing mine away.

It is shorter than my finger. While being cute is one thing functioning is another. I was not able to get the microphone to work correctly with my computer. Which is probably operator error, basically me. I do wish there had been better instructions with it. Or a helpline to call or more instructions. I'm not sure why the little stand has a fold-out piece again because there wasn't any detailed instructions. Because I'm not sure if it was me not understanding how to hook it up correctly or if it was lack of instructions I can't honestly say that this is not a good product it may be. While I would not recommend it I will not say that it isn't a good product. I will advise that you read all of the product description in the ad before you purchase it and it may be a wonderful product for you. I wasn't impressed with the packaging. But because I was purchasing it for myself I don't think the package matter. Well everything but this items was protected. The package was poorly made. This Microphone is really a MINI. The base is made of a cheap plastic. I say of all of this, but the microphone works pretty well. I would say that the description should tell the buyers the size of the microphone. This mini microphone has surely been a conversation piece in my home. Honestly, when I received this product, I laughed at the size. It's not mini, it's micro. After I was done laughing, I was very disappointed as I had ordered this thinking that it was bigger than it was. Instead of automatically sending it back because of the lack of size, I decided to try it. Amazingly, it works great! I keep forgetting how technology is allowing us to make better products in smaller sizes. The sound this microphone puts out amazed me and my family. If you hadn't seen the microphone, you wouldn't know that it was not a regular sized microphone. I have it hooked up to my computer so I don't have to awkwardly hold on to the tiny little thing. Also, the color is a lot different than it looked in the picture. It looked like purple and when I received it, it was clearly pink. I would recommend this product if you are looking for a tiny microphone to use with your phone or computer and needing one that does not take up a lot of space. The size might make you laugh, but the quality is great.

This is beyond ridiculous-looking! I took a bunch of photos so everyone can see this for what it really is: a toy for a doll! It's so silly I can't even fathom what the intended market for this thing is. It's shorter and skinnier than my thumb!In addition to the crazy smallness, there are a couple of other drawbacks: (a) the foam cover is not very stretchy, so a chunk of it ripped right off in the first 5 minutes. I took a photo of that too... (b) the "instructions" are barely legible pictograms, and the "precautions" are written in broken english. Here's an excerpt: "The microphone does not use headphones/earphones with WHEAT, because the headphones/earphones and microphone would conflict with WHEAT arising from noise!"Huh? What does any of that mean? Why is there an exclamation point? Are they telling us to go gluten-free? It's so confusing!
