Tom Wing, however, still manages to pepper it with tidbits that show the human side of Van Buren history

Well written, a number of interesting pictures from early Van Buren.

I have lived in Van Buren all my life and have enjoyed this book immensely,so much history and detail, highly recommend this book.

I happen to know Tom Wing personally, and he is a great researcher and historian. His contributions to saving Van Buren's history have been both exemplary and inspiring to me. I anxiously await his next book.

Being a resident of Van Buren I enjoyed being able to look at the pictorial history of this city. Great book for anyone wanting to take a look at the past.

Tom does it again.
