Whiskey Stone Set - 8 Stainless Steel Stones and Tongs; Chilling Rocks

I love this product! I’ve always enjoyed taking my time to enjoy a glass of my favorite whiskey, but since I’m a slow drinker, the ice cubes in my drink always ends up melting and ruining my whiskey’s flavor. With these stainless steel whiskey stones, I can now appreciate my whiskey for as long as I would like without fear of watering down my drink. Although these stones don’t make my drinks as cold as ice cubes, they bring down the temperature enough to a perfectly enjoyable chilled temperature.The packaging also looks fantastic. I keep the stones in the box when not in use. This would definitely make a good gift set for any whiskey lover, and I would not hesitate to buy again.

These aren't as effective as I had hoped, and I feel that they get stained easily. However, they get the job done.

These are sturdy and easy to clean. They just don't keep it as cold as I would like. For whiskey it's fine though and it doesn't dilute so that's a definite plus.

Almost all the 5 star reviews are from people saying they "got the product at a discounted/free rate in exchange for their 'honest' review".These simply don't work. I did some science to see how little effect they actually had, poured 3 glasses of water at the same temperature, put 2 stones in one glass, 2 ice cubes in another, and 2 stones and 2 ice cubes in the other.2 stones only dropped by about 5-10 degrees. 2 ice cubes dropped the temp by 25 degrees. 2 ice cubes and 2 stones dropped the temp by 30.5 degrees is simply not noticeable and 100% not worth the trouble that goes into cleaning/maintaining these stones.If room temperature whiskey makes you hyperventilate and ice makes it too watered down, put it in the fridge, it's way more effective than these stones.

These stones are excellent. I purchased a set of soapstone whiskey stones a while back, but they hardly made my drinks any colder; not a problem with these metal stones! I dropped 3 stones in a small glass of whiskey and after a few minutes, my drink was chilled to a nice cool temperature.I also love what they have done with the packaging. It looks extremely well designed and made. It looks great on my bar counter and definitely makes an eye catching addition.The included tongs also make it easy for me to drop my stones in to the glass without banging the bottom of it.

NIce presentation case, but they really are only for looks, don't cool much nor stay cool very long.

Overall, it is a very nice gift stone set. The only thing that could be improved is a box. It is too cheap looking for a nice gift.

I have wanted to purchase a set of whiskey stones for a long time now, but always stopped myself from doing so because I just couldn't justify it. After finally breaking down and buying these, I'm upset that I didn't do it sooner. These are an excellent buy for someone who enjoys their whiskey (or anything else really) cold and full bodied. Even the box in which they come is quite classy and elegant.Two stones in a rocks glass chill two fingers to the perfect temperature in about 3 minutes and maintain the chill for 30+ minutes (only ever used them that long in 1 sitting).
