OK, I'll admit it. The name proves I am not a marketing genius. But what a wine! So savory, flavory and easy to enjoy. This food friendly white is not one of those geeky wines that only sommeliers can enjoy, nor is it the dull offering that one might expect for the modest price. Craft is what we are all about, and every wine made at The Ojai Vineyard comes from top vineyards that I carefully oversee. Once in the winery the grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed and fermented in small French oak barrels. After six months in the barrel the wine was gently bottled. We have taken the extra step of aging this wine in bottle for a year, and now it is delicious and ready to enjoy.
