That's the beauty of GROHE Blue and the GROHE Blue activated carbon filter, which is designed for areas where the water hardness is below 9° dKH. The smart three-phase filter, which has a capacity up to 3000 litres, removes all unwanted materials and impurities. First coarse particles as dirt are filtered out. The activated carbon filtration refines the water taste by filtering bad tasting substances. And finally the fine filtration captures even the smallest particles. The filter is compatible with GROHE Blue Home, GROHE Blue Professional and GROHE Blue Pure systems. Replacing the filter is easy: simply unscrew the old filter, insert the GROHE cleaning cartridge (40434001)*, start the cleaning process and then replace it with the new filter. The result is pure potable water straight from the tap! * You will also need to buy a reusable GROHE Blue cleaning cartridge adapter (40694000)! Set Contains: 1 x GROHE BlueActive cabon filter

**Q: About to buy the Blue but confused about the different filters....which do most go for?**
A: Note the size as they come in S, M, L
I once ordered Large and in was too Long to fit under the counter in my instalation.
Carbon filter is universal, I like also the magnez filter for taste of water. Over the years I buy one or the other. You can not go wrong with Grohe Blue!!!

**Q: I just replaced the new filter, but the water was black at first and then became milky. After 5 mins, the water became transparent. Is this normal?**
