Not terrible, not great. Average.
I ordered this mattress from the company's website and not from Amazon. This mattress was ordered and received in December 2014.The measurement of the mattress I received is NOT 60x80. it is short an inch for both dimensions. The email I received from a representative of the company said that my measurements are "within the 1.5" tolerance for mattress sizes". Upon quick research, I am under the impression that the 1.5 tolerance referenced in the email is actually referring to sag and not length and width. The mattress comes rolled. After opening and taking it out of the vacuum sealed in plastic, it reaches its full size Wtthin 10-15 minutes- but wait like an 1 hr or 2 still. Now, the company will send a paper that said "fluff" the corners to help it reach it's full size. And that will be their standby answer when you tell them that the mattress does not match the advertised measurements. Be sure to only hold underneath the mattress or just the cover. If you grab the latex /foam itself and it happens to tear or come apart you have voided the warranty. Be sure to read how to handle this mattress. It would have been nice if the mattress cover came with handles to make it easier to maneuver. So buyer beware. Your mattress just might not fit the frame for your bed properly. As for the comfort of the mattress itself- which is harder for me to write a review for. Anything would be better than my 14 year old mattress that I had previously. I went and tried several mattress prior to taking a chance on this one. My two "choices" where an all latex mattress and and a Beautyrest Black. Both of those were 1500 dollars plus. I don't have that kind of money. Those two mattresses felt like heaven immediately with proper support everywhere I needed it. With this mattress, I'm not unhappy. It'a little firm as first, but it has softened a bit. I have turned (not flipped) the mattress to compare sides and I've been comfortable. I'm debating whether or not to get additional padding but maybe I just need a new pillow. I'm not quite sure. I am able to get out of bed quicker because i don't feel as "sore" as my old mattress made me feel. When I bought this mattress, it was in the 850 dollar range (starting price) At the time they were taking off 300 dollars- so that brought me to the 550 dollar range. If you start the process of ordering the mattress via their website, but don't finish-they will take another 5 percent discount off (I'm pretty sure it was 5 percent) trying to get you to order the mattress in that that session. It has been a few months so I can't remember exactly what I paid. The price has gone up quite a bit on their website but they are still offering the 300 dollars off the original price and now an additional 100 dollars off. That brings your total to about 629 dollars. I personally, would not pay more than that price. Remember, I "loved" a 1500 dollar mattress but I couldn't afford that.I guess that is all I have to say right now. 3 stars because the mattress is not the size (according to length and width) advertised and I am still in the process of deciding if the comfort of the mattress deserves 4 stars The current price on amazon seems to include all the discounts that you have to make sure that you put in the "codes" when ordering from Habitat Furnishings directly. The current price is 679 on Amazon versus the un-discounted price of 1029 on Habitat Furnishings website. I would not pay more than the current Amazon price. The price I paid was probably less by 100 dollars when I ordered my mattress. If need be, I will update my review in the upcoming months.

No support
And I don't mean back support - at least not at first. We loved this mattress for the first few years we had it. Now, it has settled into our body shapes to the point where we have to sleep in those areas or we roll into them or can not get comfortable. It doesn't bounce back any more, or not very well. However, the real issue now is that they offered a 10 year warranty but the company does not seem to be in business or now, they sell Air Floatation mattresses and not these and I can't get any response about the warranty because I want it replaced or refunded so I can get a different one.

We love our Habitat Furnishings mattresses!
My husband and I have a split King bed (2- XL Twin mattresses). We have 8" 100% latex mattresses made of Dunlop and Talalay. My husband's side is firm (more Dunlop) and my side is medium (more Talalay). We have had our mattresses for over 2 years and love them, however, if I were to do it over, I would get the firm mattress, too, as it is more supportive. I just flipped over my mattress to the Dunlop side and the problem was solved. Voila'! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because we had to replace one mattress because it was an inch short than the other and didn't match up. We received another one right away after submitting photos of the discrepancy no questions asked. At that time, there was a 365 day trial period which is unheard of! According to the Better Business Bureau, Habitat Furnishings is no longer in business so I would look into that before purchasing one of these mattresses on Amazon.

Horrendous Mattress
Warning: Don’t buy this mattress. You’ll probably suffer from lower back pain because the mattress doesn’t give enough support. You’ll just sink into the mattress. You won’t have the correct spinal alignment. You’ll probably wake up feeling tired because your body isn’t getting the proper support. You probably won’t be able to get into a comfortable position. As of Sep 29, 2016, the Habitat Furnishings website has the 6” Latex Twin selling for $1,349 and the 9” Latex Split Cal King selling for $3,198. So, you’re paying somewhere in this price range for basically a large latex pad, that has holes spaced ¾” apart, and a cover. I have a 6” thick mattress that I’m going to trash next week. This mattress should be taken off the market because it’s unsafe for human use.
