This stuff is AMAZING! My 2 year old loves play dough but it always ended up on the floor, under her nails, and it never seemed to last more than a day with her. This stuff is 1000 times better than play dough! It looks better, feels better, doesn't fall apart and end up on the floor, and doesn't even end up under my daughter's nails. I threw all her old play dough away and I will ONLY be buying this stuff from now on.

I would give it 5 stars for the actual play dough but I am super disappointed with the amount of play dough in this order. I ordered this once before in march 2017 and ordered it again because my daughter loves it. Now the play dough comes in plastic containers instead of the bags and contains a significantly smaller amount! It makes me think the product description of 1lb includes the plastic containers. I was wondering why it was like $10 cheaper this time around. Thought it was on sale..Very upset about this!

Great toy for young kids who love to sculpt/build but lack hand/grip strength
These are pretty fun, they were really nice for my kids to do as they were working up their hand strength. Sculpey was a bit too tough at the time for them, they are now 3 and 5 and have built their grip and dexterity considerably so we don't use this much anymore. The clay, when wet, is very soft... it is sort of like playing with a limber marshmallow--if that makes any sense. The texture is marshmallowy, but it stretches like putty. It won't snap with a sticky center like a marshmallow would. it molds and shapes well, dries in several hours and the "toys" we've made with it are very light weight, you could blow them across the table. That being said, they are very weak, so you can't really play too rough with the creations. We've toothpick reinforced quite a few casualties. Also, some of our clay arrived dried out, we added water and had mixed results with rehydrating. one ended up very sticky, the other seemed okay but began bleeding its color. I didn't reach out for help because we still had plenty of clay to work with so it wasn't pressing to me. Overall this was a great time for us, and I'd recommend it for young kids who know better than to eat clay but haven't the hand strength for the real deal. The colors are lovely, the ability to create in relatively little time your own cute toys or artworks is very rewarding as well.

Cool stuff but has flaws
It's more like a cross between gum and marshmallows. If your child likes to pull things and pick things apart into tiny pieces, it stretches exactly like a piece of gum and can then easily be pulled into little pieces that wind up on the floor. My son is 2 and just likes to pull it and make a mess with it. Having said that, if you can keep it one piece (older kids or kids who don't pick things apart) it's not as messy as playdough and it does feel really cool. My major complaint is that it the clay comes in disposable plastic wrap rather than a container. They include tiny little plastic ziplox that don't fit the clay in them. I'm shocked that someone from this company thought that mini plastic bags were a good storage idea. All you have to do is place the clay next to the little bag and you can see that it won't even kind of fit. So there is no way to store the stuff unless you go out and get individual snack size ziplox. If you put 2 colors together, they will stick without any way of separating the colors. So, be prepared for the colors to eventually run.

Gave this to my great grandson for his 4th birthday
Gave this to my great grandson for his 4th birthday. it was a small party of eleven or twelve (only 4 children). The Marshmallow clay is something none of us experienced before. Amazing! "So light and fluffy", I kept hearing. First the kids kept busy with the Marshmallow doh for quite a long time. Then over the next hour or more I noticed one adult examine the clay adding their comments "Oh it's so light". It was awesome watching the adults in the room one by one squeezing a hand full of the amazing Marshmallow kids clay doh. Toward the end of the party two adults sitting in a corner was holding out and I was sure I'd never see them bring the "kid " in them out. But then a huge thing happened. The amazing gift I had brought was being delightfully squeezed by the two adult "hold-outs!" Truly a 5+ item! .

Fun but keep an eye on it...
This came in lots of great colors and the texture was fun for all my kids, ages 3-7. However, be careful where it ends up before it dries. It seemingly becomes a part of whatever fabric or fiber it is stuck to on a chemical level. My daughter sat on a decent-sized blob of some pink marshmallow clay and didn't realize it and that was the end of her new jean shorts. I spent a significant part of the summer hunting down specs of it in the shag carpet and clipping out the affected fibers.Because of it's quick-dry nature, it's fun to mold it into creations that will endure. But leave the lid off the small containers and the next time you get out that color you'll find a bright sponge instead of clay.I think if I had been better prepared for it's properties we wouldn't have been unpleasantly surprised. It's a different medium than playdoh and the kids enjoyed it.

Great Ingredients, Too Pricey to be so disposable though.
This dries out SOOOOO quickly is our only complaint. We did not get the extra storage bags they advertise, so maybe that would have helped, though baggies don't seem to really prevent it from drying out.My daughter LOVES these and as a concerned mom, I love that they have decent ingredients. We'd be willing to order again at maybe half the cost, but I can't afford the price for something so disposable. We'll enjoy them until the last color dries up though.

Cute packaging, however this was a Santa gift - today was the first time it was brought out To be played with and several of the dough is already hardening.Colors are great, I am even happy with quantity given for each color. Texture of the non-harden dough is great. Disappointed that several are already on it way out. I was hoping it would last For a few play times before having to get tossed out. I not confident that it will hold up, but i hope so because it’s a cute set.Hard to tell in the picture but pink on the right is dry opposite of the left (darker pink) has a smooth and pliable texture
